A quarter candlemark later, they were westward bound. The storm of the previous night had drawn all the moisture out of the atmosphere. The heat of summer has arrived to my neck of the woods. I don't mind a little, but we have a tendency to go about 90 days without significant rain and its not unusual to have 30+ days in a row over 100.
